Interestingly the findings reveal that almost 94% employees will stay back in an organization if it offered them adequate avenues to learn and develop new skills and/or enhance their existing skills. Inferring that talent managers need to invest more time in creating suitable avenues for employees to develop their skills. The infographic also revealed that almost 56% employees will be motivated to learn and develop new skills if their managers were more invested in them.
However, the it also revealed that talent mangers believe that while it was crucial for employees to make time for learning and developing new skills, it is equally important for managers to be actively involved in their employees’ career and ensure right talent management practices in an organization.
The infographic also highlighted the importance of bridging the gap if the organization wanted to grow and thrive. The research behind the infographic highlighted the need for easy integration of learning and development programs for all size of enterprises. The infographic revealed that 56% employees believe that they will be more inclined towards learning and development program if their managers are more invested and shared specific program that will enhance their skills.
The infographic also revealed what global talent managers think about motivating the managers to ensure that learning programs are aligned with organizational goals. It also highlighted that 53% managers were more likely to encourage learning and development programs if it was directly related to their promotion paths. While 52% managers will incorporate learning and development programs if it was easy and seamless process.
